Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Wisconsin requiring a WI or compact RN license, EPIC experience, and variable 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg hospital setting
Patient ratio is 1:4-5 on days and 1:6 on nights
12-hour variable shifts with both days and nights required
Work every other weekend and every other holiday
Floating required to similar Med/Surg units at designated nearby facilities as prescheduled
On-call possible during low census periods with on-call pay
Utilizes EPIC EMR and prior experience is required
Any color of scrubs is permitted
Responsible for delivering direct patient care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
Must be willing to float to affiliated facilities as needed
May be placed on call during periods of low census
Scrub color is flexible and not restricted
Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis

Requirements

Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
Current AHA or Red Cross BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
Prior travel assignment experience preferred
Proven EPIC charting experience required
Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the specified location
