Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a qualified RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit travel assignment in California requiring recent PICU experience and active CA RN licensure.

Responsibilities

Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
Patient population consists of critically ill pediatric patients
Shifts are 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Uses Epic electronic medical record system
Must not exceed two years of continuous or cumulative assignments without a 90-day break
Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same pay rate
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time PICU RN experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
