Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida requiring BLS, ACLS, and fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

Work in an LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Nursery) hospital unit
Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
Every other weekend shift requirement
13-week contract assignment
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period
Travelers are supported by the existing clinical team within the LDRPN unit
All candidates can only apply to one position within the health system at a time
Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule
COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this role
Documentation of references and license verification is required for consideration

Requirements

Active FL or Compact RN license with Nursys verification
Minimum of 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or other program within the past 2 years if not covered on competency exam)
NRP certification from AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics required
Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address
