Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN in Michigan with at least two years of OR experience and proficiency in multiple surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Handles general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and eye (preferred) surgical cases
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
- Navy blue scrubs required
- May be required to assist across a variety of surgical specialties during scheduled shifts
- Requests for scheduling accommodations must be made at the time of profile submission; no requests will be considered after offer
- Maximum of five days of requested time off is allowable for assignment consideration
- First-time travelers are not restricted by prior assignments except for radius rule
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
- Proficient in handling general, ortho, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and eye surgeries (eye preferred but not required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
- Must provide recent work history and two supervisory references from the last two years
- Must submit a skills checklist current to within one year and pertinent to OR specialty
- Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
