Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring MA licensure, Epic experience, and Level 1 trauma background.
Responsibilities
- Work in a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department with 44 beds
- Serves a trauma Level 1 patient population in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts including every other weekend and coverage of two holiday shifts
- Utilizes Epic EMR for all charting and medication administration
- Access to a modern, spacious facility with fast-track, imaging, pharmacy, behavioral health, and family consultation areas
- Provide emergency care to patients with urgent medical needs and trauma
- Team includes highly skilled ED nurses and comprehensive support staff
- Day 1 pass/fail tests in Tele/ECG and medication will be administered during orientation with study guides provided
- Consistent email communication required for interview scheduling
- Excessive time off especially around holidays will not be considered
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience is mandatory
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- COVID-19 vaccine with booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions considered)
- Must not have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the past 6 months
- No local candidates within 50 miles will be considered
