Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health float position in the Boston area, requiring active MA licensure and prior home care and case management experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in home health settings covering multiple regions in the Boston area including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, and more
- Day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30
- Floating to cases and regions as assigned within the north region service area
- Weekend rotation required once every 6 weeks
- Patient care managed using Epic EMR system
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, care plan implementation, ongoing education for patients and families, and electronic documentation
- Must perform admissions and case management duties in accordance with home care policies and standards
- Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions permitted
- No validated parking provided at Boston locations; candidates should expect to use public transportation or pay daily parking rates
- Team coverage managed through North Region Scheduling
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted MA RN license required; MA conditional licenses not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of certified home care experience required
- Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
- Current AHA certification(s) as applicable
- Ability to travel to assigned patient locations throughout designated regions
- Primary source verification of professional license and certifications required
