Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU night shift position, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
Care for cardiac medical and surgical patients, including those with cardiac devices
Assignment is for 13 weeks, night shift from 19:00-07:30
Must be able to safely manage 2 ICU patients per shift
Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
Cardiac device management is an essential part of care responsibilities
Local candidates are accepted with a reduction in the pay rate according to the state's radius rule
Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on the shift
COVID-19 vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023

Requirements

Active IN or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
