Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent CVICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
No on-call required
13-week contract assignment
Provide care to patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Team-oriented clinical environment
Strict rules for requested time off: maximum 5 days unless near a holiday, in which case maximum is 3 days, with only one holiday request allowed
Several consecutive days of time off during holidays will not be approved
First day orientation provided on site

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Minimum of 18 months recent full-time CVICU experience within the last 3 years
Strong experience with all levels of cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
Former staff must be separated for a minimum of 1 year from the health system or 18 months from the same facility before returning
