Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) of a hospital setting
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
Cares for a diverse, high acuity critical care patient population
No on-call requirements
Travelers are required to follow strict RTO guidelines: maximum 5 days off unless during holidays, when the maximum is 3 days
Only one holiday time off request is permitted
Holiday RTO must be spread out and not taken consecutively
No first-time travelers or locals will be considered

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility as locals are not eligible
Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation from the health system and 18 months if returning to the same facility
