Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with ortho experience and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
Main specialty cases involve orthopedic procedures
10-hour rotating day and evening shifts with on-call requirements
40 hours per week
Use of Cerner EMR is preferred
Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
Schedule requests may be accommodated at manager's discretion
Local candidates are not accepted for this position
Personal vehicle is recommended due to lack of public transportation

Requirements

Active VT or compact RN license is required (VT must be applied for upon acceptance if not already held)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Scrub experience is highly preferred
Orthopedic OR skills are required
Cerner EMR experience is preferred
