Travel Nursing Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room, Nursing Float Unit
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- EMR System: EPIC
- Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
ER RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC
- Recent nursing skills checklist (within 1 year of submission)
- 1 supervisory reference
- Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, lease, etc.)
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Float within the nursing discipline across local Sioux City healthcare campuses as needed
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Respond to medical emergencies and deliver critical interventions
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
