Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU position with night shifts and floating requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in a Level IV surgical NICU caring for neonates and infants from 23 weeks gestation up to 1 year old
Care for patients with complex diagnoses including PPHN, NEC, BPD, cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, hydrocephalus, and others
Assigned to three 12-hour night shifts per week (19:00-07:30)
Required to work one extra shift every three weeks during periods of high census
First float to PICU, CCU, or med-surg floors to care for patients with similar skill sets
Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill neonates and infants with a wide range of diagnoses
May float to other pediatric acute care units based on facility needs
Locals are not accepted for this position

Requirements

Active RN license required
Previous experience in a NICU setting required
Cannot have been a former permanent employee of the facility
Candidates must reside outside a 100-mile radius from the facility
