Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Colorado requiring 4 years of recent L&D experience and specific certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Family Birth Place setting specializing in Labor and Delivery, OR, PACU, postpartum, and couplet care
Care for mothers and babies 32 weeks gestation and above
Handles approximately 60 deliveries per month
12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends
Participate in call rotation, typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
Provide comprehensive L&D care, including support for OR, PACU, postpartum, and couplet care units
Must be a strong team player with a patient-centered approach
Part of a supportive team recognized with Pathway to Excellence Designation
Facility offers housing available for travelers to rent directly
Fun, evidence-based work environment dedicated to best care practices
Holiday and weekend shift coverage required as scheduled

Requirements

Active Colorado or compact RN license in good standing
Minimum 4 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE
Proof of current flu vaccination with no exemptions allowed
