- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Acute Care ICU (MICU/SICU/Neuro)
- Facility: State-of-the-art hospital with 20-bed Intensive Care Unit
- Average Census: 16-17 patients per day
- Start Date: October 25, 2025
- End Date: January 24, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:30pm), every other weekend, holiday rotation
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$2040
- Charting System: Epic EMR
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state; licensure assistance available)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (required); TNCC (preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
- Professional appearance: Navy blue scrubs, natural hair color, tattoos covered if necessary
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU (MICU/SICU/Neuro)
- Monitor and manage patients on cardiac monitors, ventilators (Servo & Hamilton), and Braun IV pumps
- Administer and titrate medications, including moderate conscious sedation drips
- Collaborate with pulmonary critical care intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff
- Respond to rapid responses and codes as needed
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records
- Support and mentor nursing students and externs assigned to the unit
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical education
