ER RN Travel Job Details
- Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (Adirondack region)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (43 beds)
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990–$2,130 per week
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse
- Active RN license in New York State
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- EPIC electronic health record experience required
- De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Must not have worked as staff at this facility in the past year or within the AMC network in the past six months
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols and best practices
- Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
