Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Intermediate Care Unit nursing
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Ability to submit requested time off (RTO) at application
- Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data and changes in patient status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
