PACU RN Travel Assignment Details

- Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) – Gen/Main
- Start Date: October 27, 2025
- End Date: January 25, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with call
- Call Schedule: One call shift per week (Monday–Friday, 2 nurses on), plus one 24-hour call shift every third weekend
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100 - $2250
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation
- Travel nurses must reside at least 50 miles from O'Fallon, IL
PACU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes
- Participate in call rotation as scheduled
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
