Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) position in California requiring active CA RN licensure and recent Level III NICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Care for critically ill neonatal patients
12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week on a 13-week contract
Uses EPIC electronic medical record system
Responsibilities include providing advanced nursing care to neonatal patients in a high acuity unit
EPIC charting experience preferred
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
All required licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending documents are not accepted

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Level III NICU experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
Preferred: 7 years of recent Level III NICU experience within the last 10 years
Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
