Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department in New York with night shifts and advanced certification requirements.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Department of a large hospital
58-bed emergency unit in a facility with 352 total beds
Typical patient ratio of 1:5
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
Uses Cerner EMR system
Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Requirements

Active NY RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
CPI De-Escalation must be completed before or during first contract
TNCC, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale preferred
Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
