Job Title: OR (Operating Room)
Facility: Proliance Highlands Surgery Center
Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM) with varying hours
Start Date: October 19, 2025
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (until January 18, 2026)
Certifications and Licenses:
- Current and active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Licensed Surgical Technologist credentials are required.
- American Heart Association BLS Certification is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile techniques to support surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams during Orthopedic and ENT cases, ensuring precision and safety.
- Manage instruments and supplies efficiently, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Monitor patient status and ensure all safety standards are met throughout procedures.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist with a focus on Orthopedic and ENT surgeries.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterilization processes.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with surgical staff.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage surgical tools and equipment.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Completion of a recognized Surgical Technologist training program or associate degree in surgical technology or related healthcare field.
- Previous experience working in a surgical center or hospital setting, ideally with Orthopedic and ENT cases.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Weekly taxable pay: $2,038.41 (approximate gross earning)
- Weekly stipend: $1,328.05
