Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Philadelphia, PA 19141 – Pennsylvania nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- End Date: March 2, 2026
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x8-hour (6:00am–2:30pm or 8:00am–4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2190 - $2350
- On-Call: 2 on-call shifts per 6-week period (11:30pm–7:00am); weekend rotation (8:00am–8:00pm/8:00pm–8:00am)
- Charting System: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net
- Scrubs: Provided
PACU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 3 years of critical care or PACU Phase 1 nursing experience required
- Level I Trauma and ICU experience preferred
- Certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ACLS, BLS, PALS (TNCC required prior to start)
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
- Ability to float to Tabor GI, I/P, or pain center as needed
- First-time travel nurses welcome
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
PACU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia and post-procedural nursing care in the PACU and SPU
- Care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
- Manage recovery for patients post-craniotomy, transplant, GYN, urology, ENT, dental, general surgery, GI, vascular, cardiac cath, and trauma procedures
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment: ventilators, A-lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, drains, CBI, and vasoactive IV titration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including interpretation services, social services, and pharmacy
- Float between PACU and SPU as assigned to meet unit needs
- Participate in scheduled on-call and weekend rotations
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner Aecis Surgi Net
