- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D), Postpartum, Gynecology
- Shift: 12-hour nights (straight nights); occasional day shifts as needed
- Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours/week; every other weekend and holiday required
- Orientation: 36 hours for travel nurses
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for Gyn and Mom/Baby; hospital-provided scrubs for L&D
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2240 - $2400
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Gynecology nursing
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (STABLE preferred)
- Proficient in fetal monitoring and care for high-risk L&D patients
- Ability to float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed
- Experience with EPIC and OBIX healthcare documentation systems preferred
- Must reside outside an 80-mile radius of Bismarck, ND
L&D RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including high-risk cases
- Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns, and post-operative care for Gyn patients
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings and vital signs
- Operate equipment such as fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, and centralized monitoring systems
- Float to Newborn Nursery and NICU as needed
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC and OBIX systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including timekeeping and dress code
