Description:
Join a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital (Level 2 Trauma) as a Telemetry RN providing high-quality care across general surgical, oncology, nephrology, and post-surgical units. Float to Med/Surg floors, ED hold, and Legacy Annex (Observation Unit). Responsibilities include advanced patient monitoring, line management, and specialty care interventions.

Key Skills/Experience:

Chest tube setup & care
CPAP/BiPAP management
Tracheostomy care
Drains, feeding tubes, epidural pumps, PCA pumps
PICC/Central line care; Port-A-Cath/vascular device access
Wound VAC management
Telemetry interpretation
Blood and blood product administration, temperature management (cooling/warming blankets)

Requirements:

NY RN license
BLS, ACLS
Minimum 3 years experience

Preferred:

5+ years experience in acute care/telemetry

EMR: Cerner
