- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2210–$2370
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR RN jobs)
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state (pending license accepted)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
- Experience in a community hospital setting required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
Key Responsibilities for OR RN
- Circulate in a high-volume Operating Room, managing diverse surgical cases: heavy Orthopedics (including joint replacements), Neurosurgery, Vascular, General Surgery, Urology, Plastics, Bariatrics, Laparoscopic procedures, GYN, ENT, and Robotics
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in orientation and annual training modules to maintain clinical competencies
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
