Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Neuro
Location: 2401 W Belvedere Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215
Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry RN to join a Certified Stroke Center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). This unit primarily cares for patients with neurological diagnoses while also functioning as a telemetry overflow for other medical-surgical patients.

Unit Information:

Unit: 3 South – Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry / EMU
Designation: Certified Stroke Center & Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
Patient Mix: Predominantly neurological cases; telemetry overflow for diverse populations
Ratio: Standard Med/Surg Tele ratios
Environment: Collaborative, high-acuity setting offering exposure to both neuro and general telemetry care

Requirements:

Experience:
- Neurology experience – required
- Med/Surg Telemetry experience – required
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – required
- ACLS (AHA) – required
- NIHSS – required
Testing:
- Basic EKG testing required (must be completed via Prophecy Relias before orientation)

Additional Details:

Schedule: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions possible)
Floating: Yes – may float to other Med/Surg or Tele units as needed
First-Time Travelers: Accepted if meeting experience requirements
