The Opportunity
- Seeking highly competitive and motivated candidates with strong interest in medical education and simulation.
- One year clinical teaching and simulation fellowship, available for the 2026 -2027 academic year.
- Program includes dedicated hours to academics, clinical hours with EM residency at Kaweah Delta Medical Center as well as surrounding sites, and opportunity to lead educational sessions for a variety of learners, including residents of multiple specialties, high school students and ancillary staff.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Graduate of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program required.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Able to obtain a CA state medical license.
- Interest in simulation and medical education.
The Practice
Kaweah Health Medical Center – Visalia, California
- A 250-bed facility and Level III Trauma Center.
- STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center.
- 74-bed Emergency Department with 98,000 annual visits.
- 24/7 case management, social work, and in-house interpreters.
- Kaweah Health Medical Center operates an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency with 18 residents per year, ACGME accredited Sim/US/education/admin EM fellowships, and an AP fellowship program, taking rolling admission with up to 4 AP fellows per year.
