Social Worker MSW - Primary Care at Providence Health and Services summary:
The Social Worker MSW in Primary Care provides resource support, advocacy, and referrals to healthcare providers while building relationships with community agencies. This role requires a Master's Degree in Social Work and relevant state licensure, preferably with acute care medical social work experience. The position is part of a large healthcare organization focused on whole-person patient care and community support.
Description
Under general supervision the role of the Social Worker is to work with and support the providers through the provision of resources, advocacy and referrals. The Social Worker is also an internal resource for community referrals and linkages. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local community agencies and organizations.

Required qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work
- Upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License. Or
- Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License
Preferred qualifications:
- Acute care Medical Social Worker experience.
