Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Colorado requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least one year of OR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a general surgery operating room within a hospital setting
Day shifts, 10 hours each, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week
May be required to float to other departments based on business needs
On-call during scheduled shifts may be required
Utilizes the Epic EMR system
Responsible for providing perioperative nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Conducts health teaching, counseling, and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
May participate in supervision, delegation, and consultation within the nursing team
Promotes the values and mission of the organization
Allow at least two weeks for background check and drug screening processing

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum one year of Operating Room RN experience required
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with at least an ASN
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required, with no expiration prior to start
Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS preferred but not required
