Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
- Location: Auburn, Washington (98001) – Seattle metro area
- Healthcare Facility: Birth Center (12 L&D beds, 8 postpartum/antepartum beds, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 ORs, 6-bed Level II NICU)
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2240-$2400
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/17/2025 – End: 2/14/2026)
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Scrubs: Teal scrubs provided
- EMR System: EPIC
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington state preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience, with at least 1 year in LDRP
- Certifications required: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
- Proficient in cervical exams, antepartum and labor management, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin administration
- Experience in postpartum care, including transition to discharge for mothers and newborns
- Ability to circulate C-sections (required); scrub experience is a plus
- Baby catching/receiving (required), APGAR scoring, and breastfeeding support
- Multilingual skills (Russian/Spanish) preferred
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced Birth Center environment
- Perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and labor patients, and assist with amnio infusions and epidurals
- Monitor fetal status and administer medications such as Pitocin
- Provide expert postpartum care, ensuring smooth transition and discharge for mothers and babies
- Circulate and assist in C-section procedures; scrub experience is a plus
- Receive newborns, perform APGAR scoring, and support breastfeeding initiation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including Nurse Practitioners
- Contribute to a positive patient experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
