GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Syracuse,, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with complex and critical medical conditions.
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products following physician orders and hospital protocols.
Monitor and interpret vital signs, ventilator settings, and lab results to identify changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provide emotional support and education to families regarding patient condition, treatment plans, and post-care needs.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation using [EPIC/Meditech/Cerner] electronic charting system.
Adhere to infection control policies and ensure patient safety at all times.
