12-hour shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, must work 3 out of the 6 major holidays, and every other weekend is required.
Job Description
As a Psych RN House Supervisor, you will work primarily on the nights shift providing support in a low violence facility that serves a large indigent population with co-occurring and mental health disorders. You will oversee patient care in four units: two acute psychiatric units and two medically assisted detox units.
Responsibilities
- Admissions (no admissions overnight)
- Medication administration with patients coming to the desk
- Conducting assessments and leading medication education groups
- Assisting with meals delivered to patients by techs
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar psychiatric setting
- Required certifications include BLS and CPI (can be obtained onsite)
- Must have strong communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
