- Assignment End Date: February 2, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (travel nurse night shift)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Unit Size: 23 beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:6 max (Days M-F: 1:5)
- Charting System: EPIC
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state (Nebraska RN jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for Med/Surg assignments (unless telemetry trained)
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work holidays (may not request more than one holiday off during contract)
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to PCU as needed for Medical-Surgical assignments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training
