Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (healthcare certifications required)
- Willingness to float to Med/Surg unit as needed
- MS training required
- Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of Shelbyville, IL
- Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission
ER RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical needs
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Float to Med/Surg unit to support clinical staffing needs
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and follow hospital protocols
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions
