Travel Nursing Job Details
- Job Title: Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state preferred)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) setting (2 years preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to Med/Surg patients
- Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient rehabilitation programs
- Initiate discharge planning and provide patient education from admission
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, following all hospital safety protocols
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
