Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a Cardiovascular ICU team with strong PA line and advanced cardiac care skills in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Work in the CCU with floating to CVICU within a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill cardiac patients, including those with surgical and medical cardiac conditions
- Handle advanced cardiovascular support, including PA lines, transvenous pacing, and a preference for MCS (IABP, Impella) experience
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with specific schedule details discussed during interview
- Weekly orientation is held every Monday except holidays
- Parking costs can be up to $43 per day in some locations
- No local travelers accepted for this position
- All requested time off must be submitted up front for consideration
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Current AHA CPR and ACLS certifications required
- Strong experience with PA lines and transvenous pacing required
- Significant cardiac ICU experience is required, covering either surgical or medical cardiac populations
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella) preferred
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Must have separated from previous employment at Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities for at least 6 months
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Must pass ECG and medication tests if applicable
