Job Details – Pediatric ER RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Tacoma, WA 98405 (Washington nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department (PEDS ED)
- Start Date: November 17, 2025
- End Date: February 14, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100–$2250
- Unit Details: 35 beds (21 ER, plus fast tracks/surgical suite)
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:3 standard acuity; 1:6 lower acuity
- Support Staff: 24/7 clinical support, Tech to Patient Ratio 1:8
- EMR System: Epic
Qualifications – Pediatric Emergency Room RN
- Active Registered Nurse license (RN jobs in Washington)
- Minimum 1.5 years of pediatric emergency department experience
- At least 6 months of triage and trauma experience
- Experience in general pediatric ED care, mental health, trauma, and triage
- Required Certifications: TNCC, PALS, BLS, CPI or MOAB
- First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply
Pediatric ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in the emergency department
- Perform triage, trauma care, and pediatric emergency interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and support staff
- Accurately document patient care and interventions using Epic EMR
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families
