- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020 per week
Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Sioux City, Iowa (51104) – Iowa nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry, Nursing Float Unit
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact State
- BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Strong clinical skills and ability to float within discipline across local healthcare campuses
- Submission of work history/resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and at least 1 supervisory reference
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Float between nursing units as needed within the same discipline
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff
