Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,880 - $2,020 per week
Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Sioux City, IA 51104 (Iowa travel nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/9/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER), Nursing Float Unit
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- EMR System: EPIC
- Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
ER RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact State (multi-state nursing license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nurse contract
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC
- Strong clinical skills and ability to float within the ER and nursing float unit across local campuses
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities
- Submission materials: updated resume/work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and 1 supervisory reference
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Float as needed within the nursing float unit and across Sioux City healthcare campuses
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system
- Respond to medical emergencies and deliver advanced life support as required
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in required holiday and weekend rotations
