Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) | Saginaw, MI
Start Date: 10/27/2025 | Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | Hours: 12 hr (36 hr guarantee)
Weekend Requirement: Not Required
On Call: As Needed

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide safe, high-quality patient care in the operating room. This role involves assessing and planning individualized patient care, coordinating the OR team, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care (40%): Assess surgical patient needs, develop care plans, implement and evaluate during procedures, adjust as needed for patient safety.
OR Coordination (30%): Supervise room activity, anticipate schedule changes, assemble equipment and supplies, assist anesthesia, monitor sterile field.
Communication (20%): Liaise with patient, family, physician, OR team, supervisor/manager, and ancillary departments.
Staff Development (10%): Participate in educational meetings, in-services, seminars, and preceptorship for professional growth.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years RN OR experience – Required
Level 2 Trauma experience – Required
Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, General/GYN, and Urology – Required
BLS – Required
Recent travel experience – Highly Preferred
