Job Description
Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice, the Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for providing competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include responsibilities as a charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member.
Responsibilities
- Provision of competent patient care in a telemetry setting.
- Adhere to established standards and protocols.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff and assist in clinical decision-making.
- Participate in professional development and committee activities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Two (2) years of nursing experience.
- Current RN License in New York State (only NY licenses are accepted).
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Telemetry experience required.
- Completion of a 17-week orientation period, ending January 10, 2026, or later.
