Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with rotating shifts as needed.
Job Description
The Cardiology Stepdown Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac issues. The position requires adaptability as shifts may rotate based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in a stepdown setting, providing monitoring and interventions as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and assessment during orientation.
- Ensure adherence to safety and medication administration protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or equivalent travel experience.
- A current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- AHA BLS & ACLS certification, along with NIH certification.
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
