Schedule
4x10 or 3x12 hours (7am - 5:30pm; 7am - 7:30am), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit needs.
Job Description
The Cath Lab focuses on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. Our facility features 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs that cater to both adult and pediatric patients with various conditions. Our practice model emphasizes collaboration between RN staff and CVTs, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre and post-procedural care in the Cath lab.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
- Administer moderate sedation and monitor vital signs during procedures.
- Assist with various cardiac interventions and hemodynamic assessments.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification.
- Moderate sedation training.
- Dysrhythmia and telemetry proficiency.
- New York RN license.
- Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchman procedures.
- Experience in cardiac interventions including CTO, PCI, and pericardiocentesis.
- Mechanical circulatory support experience (ECMO, Impella, IABP, etc.).
- Structural heart experience with various cardiac devices and interventions.
- Critical care or cardiac experience required.
