? URGENT NEED – RN (Med Surg/Postpartum/Pediatrics) ? Athens, TN ? Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays ? Travel Radius Rule: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler ? Tennessee Abuse Registry: All clinical staff must be cleared prior to start ? Position Overview Department: Med Surg/Postpartum/Pediatrics Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Weekend Requirement: Rotating On-Call: None Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: [Specify if applicable] ? Minimum Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, PALS Experience: 2+ years Med Surg experience required Recent Postpartum and Pediatrics experience strongly preferred Must be confident in caring for adult med-surg and postpartum patients due to low birthrate volume Skills Required: IV and NG tube placement Fundal checks Preferred Certifications: ACLS, NRP appreciated Float: May float to other Med Surg units ? Unit Details Unit Type: Combined Med Surg, Postpartum, and Pediatric Beds: 14 Patient Ratio: 1:5–6 EHR Systems: MedHost (general documentation) Centricity Perinatal (OB documentation) Common Diagnoses: Bowel obstruction Hip fracture Cholelithiasis Appendicitis Postpartum recovery
