- Unit: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery (8 Bed Unit)
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- End Date: February 9, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend; holidays as needed
- On-Call: None
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2160–$2310
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and current RN license (New Hampshire or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics nursing experience
- Fetal Monitoring experience required
- Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- BSN preferred
- STABLE certification preferred
- Must be willing to work at least one holiday during the assignment (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local travelers)
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, positive birth experiences
- Support a range of birthing options, including natural childbirth and epidural anesthesia
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety
- Provide personalized clinical support in a team-oriented hospital setting
