Level IV Cath Lab RN Position Position Overview
- 36 hours/week schedule preference
- Flexible scheduling options: 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts
- Shift times: 7am - 5:30pm or 7am - 7:30pm
- Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs
Unit Description
- Inpatient and outpatient procedural labs specializing in mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients
- Serves the upstate New York region
- 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs caring for adult and pediatric patients
- Wide range of patient conditions treated
- Comprehensive program with pre and post procedural care holding area
- Rich practice model with RN staff and CVT collaboration
- Focus on excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
Required Experience and Certifications
- 2 years Cath Lab Experience
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- Moderate sedation trained
- Dysrhythmia
- Telemetry
- NY License ONLY
Must Have Experience
- TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen
- Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics
- Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis
- Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
- Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo and LVAD
- Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty and ASA
- Critical care or Cardiac Experience
Nice to Have
- Cardiovascular certified or RCES preferred
- Familiar with Device and Ablation procedures and equipment
- EP Lab Experience
