Job Title: RN - Med/Surg Telemetry - Staff
Location: Washington Court House, OH 43160
Shift: Day Shift (7:a0 pm - 7:00 pm); 36 hours per week, every other weekend
Travel Pay Rate: $2250 weekly ($27.90/hr on w2 + $1246/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate: $57 per hour on W2
Start Date: 11/03/2025
Job Type: 13-week Contract
Position Summary:
- **Minimum 3 years of experience is required**
- The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, to educate.
- The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others.
- The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- In this position responsibilities will consist of managing and conducting the care of 5-6 med/surg telemetry patients,
- Position: Staff Nurse, PCU unit
- Experience Preferred: Pneumonia, Chest pain, trach care and deconditioning
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and telemetry readings to detect any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients.
- Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients.
Required Qualifications:
- RN OH State or Compact License, BLS from (AHA)
