Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Sioux City, IA 51104 – Join the Siouxland healthcare community and enjoy scenic riverfronts, welcoming neighborhoods, and a lively arts scene.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
- Setting: Nursing Float Unit – Med/Surg Telemetry (Medical Surgical Tele RN)
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (every other weekend required)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880 - $2020 per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or Compact State
- BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Updated work history/resume and skills checklist (completed within 1 year)
- License verification and copies of required certifications
- One supervisory reference required at submission
- Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver's license, utility bill, lease, etc.)
Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes
- Float to other medical-surgical units within the same discipline as needed
- Document patient care accurately in the EPIC EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing best practices
- Participate in required holiday coverage (must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays)
