Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts (01201) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Critical Care / ICU (20-bed unit)
- Assignment Type: Travel nurse contract
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- End Date: February 2, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekends/Holidays: Must be available to work two major holidays and associated weekends
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1990–$2130
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Proficient in ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- TNCC and BSN preferred
- Must have own vehicle and reside more than 50 miles from facility
- Provide work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), and one supervisory reference (from past 2 years)
- Submit all requested time off (max 5 days) at time of application
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Applicants must include their Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License with their submission.
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilators, ICP, and hemodynamic support
- Float to PCU as needed to provide clinical support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient care using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
