Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and previous medical-surgical experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an adult Med/Surg unit with some orthopedic cases
Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend required
No call responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to adult Med/Surg and orthopedic patients
No block scheduling available
Collaborate with an established and supportive team
COVID-19 vaccination is not required

Requirements

Active ME or compact RN license required
Minimum 3 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience needed
BLS/BCLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Telemetry experience preferred
Flu vaccination mandated by the State of Maine
