Med/Surg RN Job Details

- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30pm – 7:00am), alternating weekends

- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,470–$1,570 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the Birmingham facility
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
- Float to other hospital units as required by facility needs
